Mind the Speed has three data centre infrastructures in South Africa, these are based in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. We also have four international data centres, two in the UK, one in Amsterdam, and one in Frankfurt, Germany.
Mind the Speed has capacity over two international cable systems – our primary is WACS and our failover is EASSY. Both these international cable systems terminate at different data centres in Europe so we have complete redundancy on our international routes.
When it comes to peering, we peer at all the NAPAfrica exchanges locally, and at INX-ZA, that includes Johannesburg (JINX), Cape Town (CINX), and Durban (DINX) in South Africa, and internationally at Amsterdam (AMS-IX) and Frankfurt (DE-CIX).
